In this position, I will focus on the “Affiliate Equity Pipeline” (diversity recruitment and talent attraction efforts) and/or Affiliate Leadership Development (ALDA) programming, provide written correspondence to stakeholders across the nationwide organization, analyze data and reporting focused on priority programming and learning community effectiveness, maintain and organize resource banks to effectively communicate EDIB programs and tools , work closely with staff across the organization to promote awareness, ownership, accountability and sustainability of EDIB initiatives , and center principles of equity, inclusion, and belonging in all work, embedding the values in program development, policy application, and organizational practices and processes.

In this position, I am responsible for helping advance racial equity by working with diverse staff to put together programming, events, and projects that helps guide organizational decision making. I also chair and collaborates with the diversity, equity, and inclusion committee to propose strategies and methods to promote inclusivity in the work environment and equity in the community through the work we do.

In this position I am responsible for maintaining daily implementation of the Operation Backpack program for over 3,000 kids every week, coordinating with volunteers and school district officials, creating menus for children that follow USDA health guidelines, and tracking inventory and delivery logistics using the ROMA database. I also take part in program evaluation efforts by tracking specific goals and metrics.
