I supported research and strategy under the leadership of the legendary and longtime PaineWebber Senior Vice President of Investments Howard A. Pirwitz, whose executive career spanned over 50 years!!! He would go on to become my longtime mentor and career sponsor for over two decades all the way until I made it to the corporate and executive boardrooms later in my career, until he passed away in 2018.

My first job working on Wall Street where I worked in the mailroom at PaineWebber (later acquired by UBS Financial). I was paid only for lunch and bus transportation between home and the office in downtown Columbus, OH. This is where it all started for me!!! It was at this time that I competed in the USA TODAY/AT&T Collegiate Investment Challenge where I reached a ranking of #77 in the country out of 9,100 participants by picking winning stocks using equity research technical and quantitative analysis. That is when I was discovered by senior executives at PaineWebber.
