As a Special Education Teacher for five years, I specialized in teaching individuals with significant needs. During this time, I developed and implemented individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support the unique learning needs of each student. In addition, I collaborated with parents, other teachers, and support staff to ensure that each student received the best possible education.While teaching, I pursued my Master's degree in Special Education and obtained my BCBA license, which helped me deepen my understanding of applied behavior analysis and the principles of behavior management.Currently, as a BCBA, I work closely with clients to assess their behavior, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide ongoing support and guidance to their families and support team. I collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists and occupational therapists, to provide a comprehensive approach to improving my clients' quality of life.In my role as a BCBA, I have gained extensive experience in providing services to individuals with a wide range of needs, including those with autism, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges. My work has allowed me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my clients and their families, and I am deeply committed to continuing to improve my skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
