The study focused on abundance and distribution trends of bird species that are recovering following historic declines in Europe, in order to understand the factors driving comeback and to help enhance conservation strategies. The resulting report, Wildlife Comeback in Europe, was launched at a high profile event in London in September 2013 and received exceptional media attention. During the study, I liaised with a number of BirdLife Partner organisations and developed collaborations with other contacts to gather the data and information required. These data were collated, interpreted and synthesised in the form of concise case-study accounts for selected bird species. I was also responsible for arranging and chairing meetings between all collaborators, as well as taking minutes. Show less
