In 2024, I chose to join ITBMUN 2024, focusing on finance. This decision posed a challenge for me, given my lack of prior experience in finance committees. Opting to serve as the director of fundraising, I believed I could guide and coordinate committees on funding matters, fostering collaboration among team members. Participating in fundraising for the first time at this national conference aimed to broaden my experience, and surprisingly, I found myself adapting well to the tasks and concepts involved in funding activities. Over the past few months, I have succeeded in advancing the event. Assuming various responsibilities, I led and empowered an 8-member team to implement fundraising strategies, resulting in a 4% increase in financial profits and the attainment of organizational objectives ahead of schedule. Additionally, I provided guidance on 75% of the fundraising activity's concept, which encompassed selling merchandise to hundreds of individuals, and effectively managed the team responsible for treasury and financial systems.
