I started to work as a part-time consultant to keep internal framework up-to-date and to help Head of Engineering and the team of Tech-Leads in any decision they make.

I led the organizational transformation of Inventiv to create an engineering culture enabling company to shift its vision from being a service provider to become a software vendor. 5 development teams with 30+ engineers delivered product increments using two week iterations and constantly improved their quality through engineering metrics.

As the Software Architect my main responsibility was to enable teams to create high quality software with compliance to group standards and business needs. In this period we commercialized our internal framework which led the company to decide to create more software products.

Worked as a Software Architect to help ProceedLabs from its ideation stage to its exit. Built a strong development team with a solid technical infrastructure and implemented Scrum to create the product. Company successfully pivoted a couple of times to find a better product market fit.During its ideation stage we moved company's strategy from being an SME software to a platform for SMEs to find providers and services. It was named as OfisPaneli. This first version was developed using Angular.js and the .NET back-end framework I developed for Multinet | Up.After 3 years of hard work, OfisPaneli was acquired by Groupe Up. Proceed was born out of OfisPaneli. It became a SaaS company to enable Groupe Up, operating in 28 countries, to apply its successful business model to the subsidiaries across the globe. Following this, back-end system was moved to AWS and front-end was completely redesigned and rewritten in Vue.js.

I joined Sapan as its bassist right after the band was formed. We've released 3 EPs, 2 singles and 1 studio album in total. As an indie band DIY culture was part of our DNA, so we did variety of things including arranging, recording, mixing, producing, marketing, social media.Sapan was a true team with all the planning, executing, getting hands-on, learning while doing. This period of my life proved me how people can truly engage on the same goal and do whatever necessary.

Worked as a Software Architect to create a back-end framework in .NET. This framework is designed with OOP principles and testability in mind. Multinet | Up moved its legacy system from stored procedures to this modern architecture while delivering new features and services to its customers and users.Because of the success of this framework in helping developers to create a robust software in a short time, Multinet | Up decided to expand its usage to all of the new projects as well.As of 2023, this framework still serves the company in its software solutions with millions of transactions every day and thousands of tests running for every build.

After 3 years of Scrum experience both in turn-key projects and consultancies, I attended PSD TTT event held in São Paulo, Brazil in 2011 and became a Professional Scrum Trainer in Scrum.org.I worked as a trainer for a couple of years in ACM and Scrum.org, but left this career path along with agile consultancy.

As three young engineers, we were struggling to fit in and never stopped to dream about having our own company and working together. So we decided to make it happen and ACM was born.Our company needed to survive, so we did two things; turn-key projects and outsourcing. This was even worse than working for a regular company. That's when we've discovered Agile Manifesto.ACM later became by far the most respected Agile Consultancy company in Turkey.I learned more than I could imagine during these 7 years including things like TDD, CI&CD and Scrum while delivering turn-key projects. Most of all, I learned what I love to do and what I hate to do;- I love to help people, but I hate being an outsider, it needs to be hands-on- I love to create something new, but I hate doing it on an excel sheet, it needs to be the thing itself- I love to make things efficient, but I hate it when it is not visible, it needs to be for the people who can appreciate it

Started as a software engineer and joined a GIS project written in .NET. With the architecture of this project in mind, I was asked to create a framework that would serve other .NET projects in the company. This was the start of my journey to become a software architect.I worked in several Java EE based GIS applications as well. One of them was to port a desktop app to web using JSF, for which I developed a component library in JS from scratch.I neither managed to create a standard framework nor a component library for the company, instead they started to use Oracle's ADF. At the time I thought this was a failure, but later I realized it was a successful attempt to create something new.
