Working with Francl Architecture I gained experience on a wide range of project scales and types, from residential sales centres through high street retail stores to high-rise residential towers. Involvement in all stages of such a range of projects has given me a broad understanding of varying client needs, construction methods and team dynamics.Guiding a number of projects through planning, permitting and approval stages has afforded me good experience in preparing submissions and working with city authorities in bringing projects to completion.In my capacity as project lead in the redevelopment of the Oakridge Lutheran Church in Vancouver I guided the project to construction stage working with a team of two to three people. The redevelopment consists of the removal of the existing church building and it's replacement with a 6 storey (82,000 sq.ft. / 7,600m2, $16m) mixed-use retail, church and residential complex. Francl Architecture worked closely with the church committee and not-for-profit developer to achieve a design that provides the congregation with a new worship space and income from the commercial units as well as providing 46 much needed affordable rental units in the area. A mid-sized Dublin based practice specialising in public and private healthcare and educational facilities. I joined Cullen Payne Architects immediately after graduating from college and in my four years there gained invaluable experience in a wide range of projects of various scales and complexities. This included being made the Lead Project Architect for two nursing homes, one in in Dublin City (35,000 Sq.ft, $10.5M) and one in rural Ireland (54,000 Sq.ft, $15.75M). As Project Architect I obtained extensive experience in conceptual design, creative problem solving, communication and leadership.

I worked with Keenan Lynch Architecture during my year out from college as a student architect assisting the project architects and directors on a range of commercial and residential projects in urban and rural Ireland.
