 Co-ordination of a survey on gender relations in rural Nepal (Terai, Karnali and Mechi), using participatory appraisal techniques (PRA) and storytelling as research methods.  Evaluation of the SNV Women & Development programme covering the period 1990 -1994 and train staff and NGO’s on gender and development.  Development of a policy paper on Gender and Development for the SNV Nepal Strategic Plan covering the period 1994-1999 especially on gender mainstreaming in rural development programs.  Liaising and networking with Indian and Nepali NGO’s in the field of gender mainstreaming and development.  Conduct and co-ordinate a field impact studies to monitor the effects (social/ environmental) of the introduction of biogas on the workload of women in selected districts and villages of Nepal. Advisor for the Agricultural Development Bank of Nepal (ADB-N) and UNICEF, Kathmandu, Nepal to the Small Farmers Development program that consisted of women development, micro credit and income generating components, literacy and family planning and reproductive health.
