Embedded control systems research and development.Worked on Emerson's Ovation distributed control system product and its associated algorithms for the power and water industry.PID, RST, MPC, VxWorks.

Controls, power electronics, embedded systems for Medium Voltage AC Drives.Developed and implemented induction motor and low level power electronics control strategies. Implemented algorithms in VHDL, C bare-metal micro-controller (STM32), and within a VxWorks based embedded system.

- Completed Four rotational assignments within GE. My first rotation was within the LV5 solar inverter team. I participated in software design and field support at the Joshua Tree solar power station in California. On my second rotation I lead the design of a retrofit control system for two legacy GE synchronous motor drives part of an induced draft fan application at a Georgia Pacific paper mill in Crossett Arkansas. My third and fourth rotations were with a research and development team designing a medium voltage 4 MW induction motor drive. I participated in testing and design including work on control systems using VHDL, C, and a proprietary graphical programming language.- Completed A-Course, B-Course, and C-Course- Completed a masters degree with Georgia Tech focused on Control Theory with three classes on machine learning.

Formerly Converteam Naval Systems which was aquired by GE. I worked on the LV5 solar inverter, a variable speed synchronous motor drive design for the DDG51 Navy Destroyer, and on condition based monitoring algorithms for motors. I traveled to Rugby in the United Kingdom and Nancy in France as part of my work on GE's condition based monitoring system.
