While employed at the Payne Firm I have worked on projects involving investigation of the release of organic and inorganic chemicals. Basic office work to include: excel spreadsheets, report writing and reviewing, data entry, and multiple other tasks. Experience includes installing soil borings and monitoring wells, and monitoring well sampling following strict quality assurance protocols. Field experience includes calibration and operation of environmental instruments, performing ground water, soil, surface water and air sampling, monitoring, and quality assurance, in accordance with established procedures. I also have experience conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental audits and have performed Asbestos Inspections as well as provided third-party abatement and air monitoring associated with demolition and renovation to include compliance with strict federal and state regulations of sites with up to 30 workers. • As an enlisted soldier in a Stryker Infantry platoon I quickly surpassed my peers and was placed into a leadership position charged with training and leading soldiers into battle. I instructed hand-to-hand fighting to the majority of a battalion (900 people) and was even chosen to personally instruct top ranking officers. I deployed and spent 16 months in various locations throughout Iraq making mature and sound decisions in an environment where stress is high and consequences are grave. I was in charge of the health, welfare, and ultimately the lives of up to 9 U.S. soldiers while conducting high risk operations in some of the most heavily contested battle space of Iraq. I learned to adapt and overcome in any situation making split second life or death decisions. Under my lead not one man or piece of equipment was lost.
