I am passionate about business and especially supporting women owned businesses. I have been a part of six startups, so supporting new startups through Angel Investing has become my new passion. After 20 years leading a multi-million dollar educational publishing company, I sold the business and started Englefield Business Advisors, LLC, where I coach small business owners grow, right-size, or prepare to sell their businesses. I am a buckeye through and through, graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. I caught the entrepreneur bug honestly having grown up and working part-time through college at Englefield Oil Company, founded by my father in 1961. Membership in organizations like Women Presidents’ Organization and National Association of Women Business Owners gave me an added perspective of businesses in different industry sectors. I believe in philanthropy and have volunteered on the boards of organizations like OhioHealth Hospice, Women's Small Business Accelerator, and Healthy LifeStars. As a former member of X-Squared Angels Investment network, I learned how investing in women founders can make positive changes in the world. Women are still facing barriers that prevent them from accessing the capital they need to scale their businesses. This is why I co-founded Accelerating Angels in 2022. I am excited to be raising the Accelerating Angels Fund I that will put $3 million of capital into the hands of female led, high growth and scalable businesses that focus on the change we need in the world.Specialties: Entrepreneurship, New Business Development, Recruiting, Public Relations, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Sales, Fundraising, Branding, Financial Analysis, ROI, and Business Management.
