* Over see the daily operations of the Association.* Process membership applications. * Maintain association records. * Bookkeeping, finances and payroll. * Member communications - bi-monthly Sunflower newsletter and association website. * Serve as Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Directors in a non-voting position, the Grievance Committee and Exhibitor & Sponsor Committee.* Assist planning of Association events - Winter Convention, Board retreat, Summer Get Together, Kansas Auctioneer Championship contest and Kansas Livestock Auctioneer Championship contest.* Assist in recruitment of new members. * Be of assistance to the Board of Directors in leading the association into the future, keeping it strong and relevant for members.* Maintain Association website and Facebook page.

Although I have been in this position since February of 2010, I have been with WAAR since June 2007.* Provide education programs for REALTOR® members - CE, Professional Development & Designation.* Maintain proprietary school requirements with the Kansas Board of Regents. * Plan and host the annual REALTOR® Association Professional Development Director (RAPDD) Summit for raising the bar in real estate education.* Marketing all education programs and classes. * Applying for continuing education credit with the Kansas Real Estate Commission for applicable courses. * Administering courses so that state standards are met with KREC and Kansas Board of Regents.* Development, design and maintenance of RAPDD website, Facebook page and Twitter account.* Association Facebook page and Twitter account maintenance.* Professional Standards Administrator – Ethics Complaints, Arbitration Requests, Citation Program, and SCK MLS Compliance hearings.* Association website redesign and maintenance.* Staff liaison for Grievance, Professional Standards, Standard Forms, Professional Development Committees and Citation Panel.* Oversee L.E.A.D. (Leadership) Academy.* Oversee and conduct New Member Orientation.* Take complaint calls and emails from members of the public and association members.* Oversee Realtor trademark compliance.

I am the person to talk with if you would like to hold an event or meeting in our Conference Center. I work on and put out the publications via print or email to keep our member up-to-date on pertinent information to help them in their business. Went to school for dental assisting upon the recommendation of my employer and continued to work for him while doing so.

Started On Accounting Degree

Started on an accounting degree - what my mother wanted me to do. Got a job part-time in a dental office and they took me over to the dark.
