CEZC offers after school and summer programming in conjunction with three school districts throughout Cumberland County, NJ. The CEZC education staff collaborate with districts to support student academic success and community organizations to provide students with support in youth development, enrichment, career exploration, STEM, mindfulness, and sense of community. Family activities and resources are provided to support participating student's families. Programs are youth centered and activities are geared to engage 21st century skill building. Programs are funded through private and local grant funding. Activities provide for youth to learn through personal experience and interests. We encourage students to become life long learners. CEZC is currently in it's 20th year of educational support to local youth and school districts, As project director, my responsibilities include oversight and coordination of program sites aligning with grant goals and objectives, community outreach, program collaboration and coordination of community partners, function as liaison between programs and grant representatives, financial management, seek sustainability options, professional development for staff, grant writing, communication and public relations. During my tenure, our organization has successfully secured several new private and county grants to continue or enhance academic and enrichment services to an increase of students and their families throughout the county.
