For the first time, service line business development could zero in on talent and historical engagement studies to tailor proposal development or call upon in some cases, highly specialized talent of within the firm. The initiative was developed with the help of ACAT, an internal technology resource, and senior management and was eventually rolled out to several worldwide practice disciplines and offices. Development of the EIS required a cross functional view of enterprise engagements and detailed process flow of information from the proposal stage to engagement end. Training on the EIS was developed with the help of AAs St. Charles facility where I taught several classes.
