Oversight and leadership over St. Charles Health System Compliance and Privacy programs.St. Charles Health System is a private, nonprofit organization with a vision of creating America’s healthiest community. Headquartered in Bend, Ore., St. Charles is an integrated delivery system that provides a full range of quality, evidence-based healthcare services within a 32,000-square mile area in Central and Eastern Oregon. The compliance and privacy program was based on the OIG, DOJ, OCR, and the State of Oregon's recommendations and regulations. The program included and was not limited to concurrent and retrospective monitoring for potential billing, coding, utilization, and case management matters. A Proof of Plan was completed annually which documented investigations, monitoring, and other specific compliance and privacy activities and presented to the Board of St. Charles Health System.
