Cindy has worked and studied most of her life in the field of Recreation and Fitness. As a College Recreation Grad straight out of High School, she went directly into various, rich careers. She found her passion in teaching and Academic Advising, which had been for over 15 years at Algonquin College. She worked for 3 years for a dream team of Psychologists at the Centre for Change as a Client Coordinator, which supports her passion for mental health. She mostly worked as a Coordinator of various Recreation Programmes, but her greatest connection is with Special Event Planning. Especially, events that are connected to purposeful causes – such as DIFD, Heart and Stroke, and much more! She later went on to getting her Degree in Leisure Studies. She also takes great pride in her travelling with an International Organization called Rhythm of the World in 1992. This allowed her to see several countries and learn more of different cultures! Most recently she became certified in the 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training and more certifications are on the horizon to pursue a passion for Yoga. She is an active mother of 2 boys and leads a life full of recreation-related activity to fulfill healthy living!
