• Utilize performance monitoring tools to ensure network reliability.• Create, update and resolve tickets using ServiceNow application.• Work with POCs to troubleshoot layer 1 issues.• Troubleshoot other devices connected to switches BAS (Building Automated System), JACE (Java Application Control Engine), printers, laptops, etc.• Engaging carriers for fault isolation.• Break/fix - configure switches or ports based on baseline configurations.• Add approved devices to ISE (Cisco Identity Services Engine).• Troubleshoot latency issues with POC (Point of contact) and carrier.• Add/Confirm DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) reservations

• Configure and test CHCS interfaces.• Install and configure equipment in server rack.• Perform configuration changes within OpenVMS and Multinet.• Communicate daily updates on pre and post installs to customer and management.• Troubleshoot network infrastructure.• Oversee a team of field service technicians, train, and assist lower level service technicians.• Resolve or escalate critical developments which may impact scheduled downtimes.• Interfaces with vendors for trouble calls.

• Responsible for the Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Health Record (EHR), including performance monitoring. • Frequently travels to various CONUS Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) to support systems and peripheral devices.• Supports and implements existing network, software, and hardware configurations of the EHR servers supported by the DOD.• Provides technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced staff.• Trains and/or mentors new support personnel including follow-up training as necessary. • Provides additional support for site operations when issues arise, to include assistance during upgrades, maintenance, and database administration. • Provides personnel coverage due to staff shortages through remote support techniques. • Troubleshoots LAN/WAN network communications hardware and software. • Responds to equipment repair requirements. • Communicates regularly with LEIDOS and government resources for site activities. Assists with implementation of IT improvements. • Coordinates system availability and preventive maintenance of systems, including system peripherals. • Ensures security patches are updated and installed for data integrity. • Maintains site inventory/assets, responds to equipment repair requirements, and manages warranties.• Manages the overall installation and maintenance of hardware and software. • Tracks trouble tickets and/or calls.• Preforms backup and recovery processes.• Analyzes system faults, troubleshoots, and runs diagnostic testing on systems. Evaluates and installs developed software during various phases of testing.• Reviews and prepares documentation for systems and tests and installs software. • Administers systems/environment solutions for multiple projects with varying schedules.• Provides work direction and guidance to others.• Regularly interacts with customers and/or functional peer group managers. • Designs and develops training documentation for less technical support staff.
