I worked my way through college, and my part-time cashier position turned into a wonderful career. I love to educate and inspire those around me, helping others to understand their higher purpose and pave their way on their journey. I also empower and encourage them to practice creativity and challenge the status quo.My passion for the natural foods industry started with my Wild Oats adventure. As the leader of store and field training and development, our team of eight created, coordinated, and executed the training programs across the 362 stores. With a limited budget, we prioritized the programs to help prepare the company for its growth plan. Every year I planned our leadership and educational summit for over 1,000 company leaders, focused on education, recognition, and team building. New stores also fell under my umbrella, and with a specialized team of department trainers, we opened 20-25 stores per year; we welcomed, onboarded, and trained 100+ team members at each new store, starting them on their journey.
