My work is to help people make the best use of their resources and to live lightly on this planet. I have produced two DVDs on cover crops and gardening planning, showing people how to grow their food sustainably, showcasing what I taught at the community college. I've written I've written Grow a Sustainable Diet: planning and growing to feed ourselves and the earth (2014) and Seed Libraries and Other Means of Keeping Seeds in the Hands of the People (2015). My work has expanded to include clothing oneself from the garden. To that end, I wrote Homegrown Flax and Cotton: DIY Guide to Growing, Processing, Spinning & Weaving Fiber to Cloth (2023).
