I've been working in Risk Management for Portland Public Schools since November as a Contract Coordinator for the Radon Program Website Activity and Indoor Air Quality Program. My job consists mostly of being a website editor for the Radon page and administrative assistant for the Risk Management Director.

Responsible for performing a variety of loan documentation duties on moderately complex loans, using comprehensive knowledge of policies and procedures for loan products. Functions include: processing; closing and compliance for loan products; interpreting policies while analyzing applicant, property and documentation; ordering all required verifications, documentation and subsequent follow ups.

Meets or exceeds quotas, excellent calculation skills, knowledge of 1st & 2nd mortgages, loan prequalifications, D/I ratios, knowledge of fixed & ARM loans including Interest only for all 50 states, pricing scenarios, answers inquiry calls from clients and branches. Sells mortgage products and directs callers to appropriate call centers for service or fulfillment. Ability to work under pressure during high volumes. Builds and maintains positive rapport with service partners. Excel, Outlook, MS Word, Rate Sheets, loan-servicing systems.

Strong understanding of mortgage and escrow mechanics, ability to use software apps (LPS desktop, ILS, MS Office), field inbound/outbound calls, answer borrower questions and concerns about their account, research missing payments/misapplication in conjunction with posting group, contact borrowers who are less than 30 days delinquent to prevent late fees and credit damage; qualify for early loss mitigation intervention as appropriate, respond to written requests and disputes within RESPA defined time frames, facilitate requests for payoff quotes, payment history, contact borrowers in regard to pending payment increases Rate or Escrow, determine if early intervention is required, identifies procedural issues and problems and works with management to resolve/correct, contribute to overall organization goals, excellent judgment and the ability to make independent decisions, ability to manage multiple tasks, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Client Business Development - Mortgage Contact commercial, residential, & hard money leads through owner database, lead sheets, personal referrals, email & phone campaigns starting with origination through funding of loans, follow industry trends through constant research, initiate & develop relationships with leads & referrals through networking. Use of varied loan programs including Encompass, ACT, Loan Toolbox.
