Advisor / Project Management for study + follow up on re-use of Offshore Natural Gas Pipelines.

Alignment of parties and activities for the construction of 2 parallel pipelines. In my role as interface manager I am the independent facilitator/ sparring partner for 4 parties (clients and contractors). Ultimate goal is to get transparency in combined task, reduce disturbance to the Botlek area, and prepare content for contractual and financial arrangements.

Project Kickstarter: Initiation, lobby, funding and development of an out-of-the box solution to connect 2 industrial areas with a low pressure, high quality 23 km pipeline, to be realized within 24 months. Creating the first green hydrogen connection on the Groningen Area in 2026 en boosting investments in sustainable industry. NorthGrid (Foundation) sets out to promote cooperation in the development of underground infrastructure in the Chemport Region. A large number of new underground connections will be realised in this region in the near future to increase sustainability of the industry. The realisation of this infrastructure is currently not being coordinated, which means that each party planning to lay a cable or pipeline has to arrange everything themselves. NorthGrid aims to create provisions for the incorporation of new underground connections in an early stage, in consultation with all stakeholders.

Full scope Project Management from definition of scope to completion for difficult-to-pig pipelines. Together with the Air Liquide internal team (operations/ integrity) I define the required scope, discuss any adjustments to the pipeline, write and send out RFQ, drive clarification meetings, select contractors and service providers and supervise the execution up to completion. 2019 succesfully performed ILI on 30 km 10" Oxygen Pipeline with MFL tool, using N2 as propelling medium 2021 succesfully performed UT inspection for 45 km 6" N2 Pipeline, using water, including Hydrotesting and drying2023 succesfully performed UT inspection for 10”/12” O2/ N2 pipeline

Teacher within the "Beroepsopleiding Pipeliner" - being responsible for the contents of this 1 year practical education for practical pipeliners, alignment of program and other teachers. Started in 2018 - and successfully continuing. On demand composition and provision of pipeline courses/ education for varying groups from several companies, pipeline owners or governmental institutions.

Provide young kids & girls information on the contents of my job within the pipeline industry. Pro - bono activities to stimulate the participation of young women in "male dominated" industries.

Development of H2 infrastructure

Driving new chances and initiatives for underground pipeline connections at Chemical Industrial Area in Delfzijl/ Eemshaven.

This was a pro bono position.The Pipeliner Foundation owns and developes the education for Master of Pipeline Technology (MPT) in cooperation with Avans+. As from september 2018, a new Pipeliner Education at Intermediate Vocational Level (MBO) has started, which is owned and facilitated by Litecad Campus and supported by the Pipeliner Foundation. In my role as chair I stimulated and facilitated the process to keep both educations up-to-date with new developments in the pipeline industry and continuously improve the quality.

IRM Systems is a Pipeline Integrity Solutions company providing specialist services & engineering expertise throughout the entire lifetime of a pipeline system, onshore & offshore.As Operations Manager I was responsible for the day to day preparation and execution of projects through management and coaching of the Pipeline Specialists and Engineers at the IRMS office at Delft, combined with hands-on Project Manager for dedicated projects. Together with the team we successfully completed the development of a challenging Emergency Pipeline Repair System for the offshore Assets of one of the major Oil & Gas Companies in the Philippines, where I have lead a number of workshops and safety drills at site and in the headoffice. Also involved in a number of integrity studies and Life Time Extension.

As the EU Pipeline Manager I represented the Shell Chemicals Supply Chain organisation in all pipeline issues related to the transportation of Chemicals products. Solving day-to-day operational issues with pipeline operators, both Shell internal and Third Party; Contract management of third party pipelines; Business Opportunity Manager for debottlenecking and expansion projects; Create alignment between the Commercial Supply Organization and Manufacturing sites for scheduled Maintenance; Perform a challenge on technical scoping + execution schedules to optimize the robustness of the Chemicals Supply Chain

Managing the technical integrity of about 1000 km onshore pipelines of NAM in the Netherlands.
