Cindy Egan is the vice president for the Advanced Mission Systems Business Unit within the Strategic Space Systems Division of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, a premier provider of space and launch systems serving national security, military and space customers. In this role, Egan is responsible for the execution and deployment of major national security systems, operation and maintenance of those systems as well as critical mission enhancements and growth for those programs.Previously, Egan served as the integrated product team director for the Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared Radar Polar Space Vehicle, responsible for space vehicle systems engineering, bus and communication systems development and delivery, and mission payload accommodation.Egan also served as program manager for operations and maintenance programs, as well as providing systems engineering and integration, and space vehicle avionics systems engineering.Egan holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California.
