Administrative duties for small plumbing company. Duties included: typing of correspondence; tracking of time cards and entering into job profiles; reconciliation of monthly statements; updating excel spreadsheets with job costs; posting and filing all A/P and A/R for company; made sure all office supplies were ordered and available.

Handled and managed agent book of business and all commercial policies in that book. Obtained quotes from various carriers to submit to agent. Customer service support for any and all policy requests or changes including endorsements, certificates of insurance, limit increases, address changes, etc.

Assist with uploading incident and claims information into the department’s electronic claim files, including documents pertaining to property damage and loss, work-related accidents and injuries, vehicle accidents and resident and other third party liability incidents. Help monitor claims status and follow up on information needed from field operations and/or insurance claim adjusters; interface from time to time with community managers, medical providers, and claim representatives to help facilitate claims handling and resolution. Monitor and track key dates and milestones necessary in moving workers’ compensation claims toward resolution.

Establish and underwrite new business for all new policies under $10,000 in premium working with clients and insurance agents; knowledge of worker’s compensation classifications, experience modifiers, risk analysis and business operations analysis; address all insurance agent requests and inquiries; manage active policy for first 30 days of a new business policy.
