I staffed six voting centers and wrote policies and procedures for duties. I sat on the Pierce County Voter Accessibility Advisory Committee and was the project manager for an accessibility Voters' Guide video. While on this committee I was responsible for installing 26 ballot drop boxes throughout Pierce County, which included coordinating site usage agreements, vendor installation, and decal application, plus writing policy and procedures for ballot retrieval, which won the Guardian Award in 2014. -
Microsoft Office Software TrainerRamco 1995 - 1996I taught multiple versions of Microsoft Excel and Word for companies such as Boeing, Department of Labor & Industries, and Weyerhaeuser. I got the job through a cold call to the owner and am grateful for the opportunity to work what I considered my dream job at the time. Feedback from students validated my love and skill for teaching but the offsite coordination of curriculum wasn't optimal and I'd end up arriving for class to find the wrong version material had been delivered. I always adapted but the frequency became unacceptable. On a positive note, their course materials and training format were exceptional!
