Having held my nursing license for over 30 years and with extensive experience at all levels of elder care, I am uniquely qualified to provide expert consultation and advocacy to my patients and their families.I have been a care coordinator and nurse care manager since my days at Inland Hospice in Pomona, in the mid to late 80's, and continued growing in that role in San Diego working with Assist Seniors Care Management in the 90's. I started Grace Care Management in 2001 and going into our second decade of providing top level elder care, we continue to serve our elders with unique dedication and skill.I was certified as a professional Geriatric Care Manager with NACCM in 2008 and continue running a successful and ever growing elder care management business. I am a published health care journalist in both our local papers (Union Tribune and North County Times) as well as the first elder care columnist for an online journalist cooperative "American Reporter." I do public speaking on a regular basis on elder care issues and am particularly interested at this point in growing the telemedicine component of elder care management. With the legislative changes driving shifts toward patient centered medical homes, ACO's and EMR's, the telemedicine component will function in the future as a critical source of medical data and interface.
