As an independent agent for Aflac I own and manage my own business consulting with business owners, CEO's and HR Managers regarding options when it comes to their voluntary benefits. I go above and beyond in taking care of my clients which include companies that offer this fantastic benefit as well as their employees who are Aflac policyholders. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time matching exchange students with families here in the US for the school year I now devote 100% concentration to the worksite Benefits arena. I still believe it is an important way to share another culture. This exchange will impact your life for the rest of your life!There are students available each year from approximately 30 countries who will come for either a semester or a school year. CCI is constantly looking for loving families who will agree to provide a place to sleep, meals when the student is home, transportation to and from school and activities. Students bring their own spending money and come with medical insurance.If you are interested in getting to know another culture and introduce your country and home to an eager high school student then maybe the high school exchange program is something to get more information about. You are promoting peace around the world through student exchange!As you see while I am not actively involved I do actively promote!

I was hired to set up a durable medical equipment division for The Schuster Group, a corporation which bought local hospitals that were in financial trouble. I put together 5 year cost and profit projections, budgets and growth projections for the company's 6 locations across Oklahoma. The vision never became a reality and I eventually was transferred to the billing department in the local hospital. While there I put into place a system to collect old private pay accounts. My system proved so successful that it was duplicated in their other locations.

I was hired to organize a start up medical equipment division for this home health and hospice company. In the beginning I did everything from delivering equipment to patients to purchasing, hiring, budgeting, inventory control, billing and everything else that would have to be accomplished if one owned and ran their own business. Eventually the company sold and I left for a better position.
