- Energy Measuring devices enclosure(plastics&metal work) design & improvement; Come out with schedule of design cycle; Familiar with related metering industrial Standards (eg. IEC, BS, AS) and regional market customer requirement in Mech area; Doing energy meter plastic casing design, relay and terminals metal work design; Implement mechanical part/assembly 3D CAD design using Creo software; Liaise with prototype house, resin manufacturer, plastic injection mould maker, CNC machining vendor, rubber maker, relay, LCD suppliers for mold DFMs and cosmetic/part function improvement; In charge of R&D Stage prototype and support pre-mass production build. Conduct both product part and assembly level mechanical tests in house according to metering standards; Liaise with external test lab for part/product level tests;- Failure analysis, trouble shooting (Mechanical related).

- Fixture(Metal) Design for CNC machine Automation;- Semi-Automation machine design for factory production in-house use;- High Pressure Die casting mold flow analysis using MAGMA;- Hard disk drive casing/conponents 3D re-modeling for mold-making; - Implement 3D CAD design and 2D DWGs using SolidWorks;- Liaise with suppliers for DFM and make sure project delivered within lead time. - During China Factory set up stage, took up QA job. Familiar with high precision measuring equipment such as ( smart scope, CMM, etc) trained by Mitutoyo. Conduct training for quality inspectors in factory.
