Designed and manufactured quilting machines and other quilting tools for the home quilting industry. Sketched industrial design concepts, created prototypes, fine tuned mechanical features using 3d printing (SLA and FDM), performed user testing, created 3d Solidworks models ready to be manufactured. Created and maintained bill of materials, quality control documentation, and instructions using Adobe indesign and illustrator and Microsoft Excel. Specialized in design for manufacturing of plastic injection molding, extrusions, die cast aluminum, cast steel, vacuum forming, sheet metal, and other manufactured parts.
