Cindy Jarboe has more than 40 years of experience working with Boards, executives, private equity/venture capital firms and entrepreneurs in helping companies in transition get to the next level. She has helped both public and private companies through initial and subsequent public offerings, acquisitions, mergers, sales, strategic planning, post-merger integration, systems selection and implementation, capital and bank financings. As a partner for Coopers & Lybrand, now PWC, she managed audits and special consulting services for organizations in industries including manufacturing, financial services, nonprofit, hospitality, construction, retail and consumer products. She advises private equity/venture capital firms and investors in selection and management of their portfolio companies and has often served as interim CFO for these high growth companies. Her practical experience as a CFO & COO crosses industries including healthcare (practice management and billing as well as software technology), banking, promotions and marketing, consumer products manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail, hospitality, museums, direct marketing, higher education, direct sales, construction including fabrication, and energy.Her corporate board experience includes serving as secretary to the Supervisory Committee for the Virginia Credit Union with over $3 Billion in assets, as well as previously serving on the boards of Technobrands, Inc. and At Home America, Inc. In addition, she has served as an advisor to over 20 boards, public and private. Her experience serving as an officer on national and international nonprofit boards led her to author a book on non-profit leadership and governance, The Call of Leadership: A Guide for Non-profit Board Member Success. She is a frequent speaker and trainer on the subject of board service and governance.
