* Develop and implement Jabil Supply Chain strategies.- Develop supply base and Supply Chain strategies that are unique to customer or for Business Unit Strategic materials- Support customer’s business needs using standard process where possible and customized solutions where necessary. Collaborate with Purchasing manager and SCM to determine the best approach to meet the customer needs. Influence customer’s supply chain strategies to leverage those of Jabil.- Support, execute, and provide inputs to improve Jabil SCM initiatives and strategies.* Optimize overall cost of materials.- Quote new and existing materials. Work with Materials Quotation Analyst if applicable. Frequently re-quote and negotiate to capitalize on cost reduction opportunities- Make sourcing decisions based on overall cost and benefit including price, duty, freight, flexibility, service, performance, quality, and terms & conditions.- Negotiate terms and conditions that protect the best interest of Jabil and its customers. Negotiate liability terms, special stocking arrangements, and other agreements that are outside of standard Jabil terms and conditions.- Continuously optimize MPV by reducing the cost of materials and by limiting unfavorable PPV/MPV. Work with BUM to obtain customers’ authorization for additional expenses such as premiums on materials or freight and tooling charges incurred on customers’ behalf.

*Coordinate with the purchasing community to ensure pricing implementation that increase the efficiency of Jabil’s global price administration process and allow Jabil to stay in front of our competition from a supply chain management standpoint.* Forge successful relationships with the purchasing community and suppliers to work and apply new negotiated prices.* Follow Supply Chain metrics for evaluating successful supply chain performance.* Coordinate within Supply Chain and Purchasing actions to address supply chain problems.* Master the Supply Chain tools used in the global price administration process to ensure they meet Jabil’s business needs.* Track, drive and communicate all Supply Chain KPI changes and enhancements* Assist Business Units in identifying cost reduction opportunities for sourced components.*

Frequently re-quote and negotiate to capitalize on cost reduction opportunities* Make Sourcing decisons based on overall cost and benefit including price,duty,freight,flexibility,service, performance,quality, and terms & conditions.* Manage quarterly quote process* Facilitate quarterly/(periodic) quoting process to provide accurate costed BOM’s to Project Management.* Review quoting process and timelines to ensure a robust process is in place to meet customer and Business Unit Manager deadlines.* Review pricing, lead-time, and flexibility changes from supply base with commodity management.* Roll up costed BOM’s and review to provide 100% accurate data.* Supervise timeliness of information updates within ERP system for pricing, lead-time, information records, and PO to prevent accounting and finance discrepancies.
