I am a filmmaker/photographer/writer/marketing professional focusing on humanitarian and environmental topics. Many interesting opportunities and projects have arisen from this work, including work for the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Temple in Bloomington, Indiana and work with Tibetan refugees and also various nature organizations. I work as a stock trader as well, my passion! I trade emerging bio techs and am fascinated with the ongoing world wide medical progress being made that is enhancing the quality of our lives. Caregiving for both parents through end of life and helping my brother become completely overcome a fourth stage pancreatic cancer scare gave me great interest and enormous respect for the health care field and the people working in that field. I come from a family of doctors and admire their work ethic and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others.

I worked as a high end interior designer, excelling in fine design, outside sales, project management, customer service, and public relations. It was an exciting and rewarding career, meeting a wide variety of clients and serving their special requirements, as well as meeting world renowned industry leaders, designers, founders of design houses, architects, through work at the Chicago Merchandise Mart. This job ended and I became a freelancer when my Mom had a health crisis and I became her caregiver through end of life five years later.

This was one of my favorite jobs. I worked as the manager of the university art gallery and program director of our non-credit courses in the beautiful Indiana University Union building. The courses ranged from art classes conducted in our art studios to other special interests, foreign language and culture, cooking classes, healthy lifestyle, outdoor activities, etc. I also selected artists and craftspeople for our retail shop and monthly exhibits and was called upon for public relations work by the university as needed for visiting dignitaries. My job included copy writing and photography for marketing publications and supervision of a student staff and volunteers, and hanging art shows and co-ordinating special events. This job was a pleasure and it was an honor to work for Indiana University.
