I have worked at Franciscan Health/St Elizabeth off and on for 22 years. These breaks in service have been due to husband's military deployments. The following jobs listed fill in dates for which I didn't work at St E.

Worked as a general surgeon's private CSFA, maintaining his office and surgical schedules, assisting him in surgery and small office procedures. Performed insurance precertifications to include some coding. When I switched from FT to PRN, I scheduled scopes and was a fill in for the other doctors' assistants in the office and in surgery. I was also named in an internationally randomized breast cancer study of which the study was published. This study was TARGIT-A Trial published in Lancet 2010;376:91-102.

Worked as a CST for a general surgery department while my husband was active army with the 101st Airborne Division.

Provided the surgeon and his assistant with the supplies and instruments necessary to perform the cv surgery. Maintained a proficient flow of passing these instruments and supplies to help expedite the procedure and keep our cross clamp and pump times low.
