Started in 1992 by a group of concerned and caring citizens, the Cocalico Community Parntership (CCP) was formed with the belief that there is strength in community and that people must work together to acheive community success. CCP is a non-profit organization reaching out to provide assistance and/or intervention for persons at risk in our community. The mission of CCP is to improve the health, stability and emotional well-being of persons in the Cocalico area by helping them to successfully face difficult life situations. Members include: Cocalico High School staff and adminstrators, pastors, District Justice, and community/business leaders.

Vounteer speaker who visits various organizations sharing my cancer journey; offering Hope to others. Promote the work of the Amercian Cancer Society.In 2013 I also took on the role of Volunteer Marketing Coordinator, assiting ACS staff with PR requests and materials that current VOH volunteers may need to support their roles in the VOH program.

Coordinate the details regarding the logistics and collection of all shoeboxes in the Lancaster area. Oversee the ministry at the Collection Center at Akron as well as all nine (9) Relay Centers. Make decisions locally about the future placement of new relay centers, as well as train and interview future Network volunteers.

Akron Church Of The Brethren, Akron, Pa

Coordinated 9 relay centers into the Akron collection center to collect and pack gift-filled shoeboxes for children around the world. To date (over the 15 years) have collected approx 160,000 shoeboxes. Utilitze around 100 volunteers at the Akron site every year.
