National non profit (501C3) established in 1986 that breeds, trains and provides UK Shetland ponies thru leases to therapeutic organizations working with special needs people. PPL has worked with Make a Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, health care systems and others. Our ponies make visits to senior centers, hospitals, schools, camps, veteran centers - anywhere these little guys can bring smiles. Our UK Shetland ponies are bred from bloodlines over 100 years old for temperament, trainability and robust health making them uniquely suited for this work. All donations (tax deductible) go directly into care for and activities of the ponies and the humans they serve because we are 100% voluntary- no one gets paid for what they do.
