While studying abroad in London, I had the pleasure of interning with Allegra Strategies, a strategic research consultancy. During my time at Allegra, I worked on two projects – the Allegra Health and Wellness Summit 2016 and Project Vivre 2016. The Allegra Health and Wellness Summit 2016 was an invitation-only event that brought together a hand-picked audience of key brands, retailers, manufacturers, and investors across the UK Health and Wellness market. Project Vivre 2016 was Allegra’s newest research report that provided an analysis on the Health and Wellness market. Through my experiences, I was able to hone my project management, market research, and event planning skills.Below are some of my contributions to both projects:• Designed brochures for Allegra’s Health and Wellness Summit 2016 and Project Vivre 2016 in order to attract new clients and provide event information to Summit invitees • Researched key trends, influencers, and leaders in the health and wellness industry• Assisted in organizing and moderating focus groups for active lifestyle, food & nutrition, and personal wellness sectors. Created summary of findings to be incorporated into Project Vivre report• Worked with Director of Insights to design management questionnaire for industry leaders including CEOs and managing directors of high performing firms in the UK health and wellness industry• Strategically selected and sourced speakers / invitees for the Health and Wellness Summit 2016. Worked with project manager to develop an event program and thought-provoking speaker topics• Identified relevant journalists and bloggers to attend and provide coverage for event

Maintained payroll operations by processing all new hires, terminations, rate changes, and reconciliations.
