I have been an Account Manager at Blue Cross of Idaho in the Major and National Account Department for over 8 years. I have more than 29 years of experience in the health insurance industry. In my current position I keep track of all account specific data, coordinate all aspects of an account’s service and renewal, and I oversee the correct set up and maintenance of all documentation important to the administration of my assigned groups. I handle a verity of all types of groups (small, medium, ASC, school groups and large fully insured).I joined Blue Cross of Idaho in 1984 in our Claims Department holding various jobs and then went to work in Enrollment and Billing Department in 1988 handling billing and membership issues on Individual polices and then moved on to Group policies. I then went to work in the Meridian District office in 2003 as an Service Rep and then moved upstairs in 2006 as an Account Manager were I have been since. I service an average of 300 groups yearly. I have completed Blue Cross of Idaho’s leadership, empowerment, accountability and direction (LEAD) training andam an associate member of the Treasure Valley Association of Health Underwriters. I have my Idaho Life and Disability Producer License as well as my yearly Medicare Certification.
