My primary responsibility is to obtain specialized materials, equipment, and services through a government approved purchasing system. Prepare request for quote (RFQ) packages, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate cost and delivery; assist in developing specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services. Responsibilities also include use of best practices and independent judgment for implementation of optimal purchasing techniques for use of government funds while following ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards. I possess a working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), export control guidelines, and other federal regulations.
