Cindy Walters is a director and co-founder of Walters & Cohen Architects.She was born in Australia, studied architecture in South Africa and moved to London in 1990 to work for Foster + Partners. In 1994, she founded Walters & Cohen with Michál Cohen, which has grown into a thriving studio made up of talented people from around the world.Buildings designed by Cindy have been called elegant, miraculous and timeless. They are unique to their context, create a sense of place and are loved by the people who use them.Outside of the practice, Cindy contributes to academic and professional institutions as an external examiner, guest lecturer, member of design review panels and judge of awards and competitions.
