I am a psychotherapist, HSP and have been working exclusively with HSPs for 8 years. I support highly sensitive people (HSPs) to flourish through discovering and living their authentic selves.From a very young age I was fascinated by the aliveness and interconnectedness of the natural world and with that connection to something much bigger than myself. I trained with the eco-philosopher and eco-psychologist Joanna Macy to become a facilitator of her transformational programme of theory and practice, the Work That Reconnects which develops a person’s capacity to reconnect with themselves, with others, and with the Earth. I have also trained in various shamanic and animist traditions and count the late Malidoma Patrice Somé as a key influence and personal teacher. I’m a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance, where I provide free therapeutic support around the anxiety and grief of the ecological and climate crisis.My professional HSP training has been with Elaine Aron, Barbara Allen and Jacqueline Strickland. Once upon a time, I held several senior corporate roles including global head of department for a £13 billion revenue company. I invented products, created proprietary methodologies, won many awards, and wrote best-selling business books. I have also been a successful entrepreneur. Bringing a broad spectrum of skills and experience to play, I have studied in many disciplines from engineering and physics to psychotherapy, shamanic practice and as an end-of-life doula. I hold a number of qualifications including an MBA. I’m a trustee of Heal Rewilding, I co-founded my local Transition Town, set up a social enterprise providing low-cost solar power, and founded a local community-led wildlife charity near to my home in the Chilterns, UK.
