4/2005 ­ 2/2010Relocated to Los Angeles California and join the Farmers' organization to expand the globalZurich Financial Services Group IT Operations by establishing a regional Infrastructure ProjectManagement team. My role consists of creating a team of Project Managers to assist in thedelivery of ISP projects. Overseen various business driven system development projects at theProgram Manager level that were of slightly complex nature and medium to large size financialROI impacting the Infrastructure Service Provider (ISP) department.Trained new project managers to make sure they understood and followed the organization'sProject Management methodology processes. Assist team members in resolving projectescalation issues between the functional area and business sponsors. Perform backupresponsibilities when the manager of Project Management group is out of the office or notavailable. Identifies and resolves matters of significance impacting the productivity of several large, complex, global programs by overseeing the selection of assigned personnel for projects and acts as point of contact to client's program management. Manage client project/senior management, company management and project team expectations for agreed upon project performance by obtaining, providing and interpreting project metrics. Leverage corporate synergies to improve customer information technology performance.

3/2010 ­ 6/2010Focused on managing a staff of Infrastructure project managers with responsibilities consistingof directing employees in resolving project escalation issues, conducting one on one coachingsessions, providing performance evaluations related to following project managementmethodology processes and project delivery deadlines within approved budget and agreed uponschedules.Took on projects that were failing to achieve milestone deliverables by re-evaluating the scope,schedule and budget to bring back on target or set new realistic deliverables that were moreachievable. Manage projects from conception through execution and close phases to meet projectdeadline. Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders and business sponsors to provideproject status, completion of milestone percentage and communicate any project schedule time-line risks, changes and issues.

Fully manage several small to large application system projects that Involved implementingcutting edge technology. Reduced 7,000,000 dollars in hardware cost by managing a mainframeand distributed server consolidation within multiple data center facilities to one data centerlocation. Performed final walk through of several office locations with the desktop supplier tomake sure all PC asset tags were captured in a hardware inventory validation effort. Manage aproject with an outsourcing vendor to physically inventory workstation equipment for over12,000 corporate wide staff members across North America. I became the relationship liaisonbetween the supplier and all corporate employees.Manage the deployment of an eLearning application within the organization. This included theinfrastructure platform, network connection and workstation software imaging rollout.
