Motivational speaker and instructor, Cindy Cooke teaches psychology at Glendale Community College in the Maricopa Community College District and has recently been named a Center for Civic Participation Fellow, a project that infuses college curriculum with links to civic engagement. Previously she was the Executive Director of Boomerz, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping baby boomers make the most of the rest of their lives. Cooke is the founder and former Executive Director of the World Affairs Council in Ventura County CA, was the Executive Director of the California Democratic Leadership Council in California and Director of the largest certified financial planning classroom instruction program in the country while a Continuing Education administrator at the University of Southern California. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, a master’s from Arizona State University, and has done postgraduate work in organizational development at Pepperdine University in Malibu.Specialties: Starting up organizations, sales and marketing, creating a vision and empowering others to make it a reality.
