Oversees the leasing, marketing, lease administration, information technology, and human resources divisions to solidify Dallas Market Center as the most complete, convenient and easy-to-shop marketplace since its founding in 1957, offering hundreds of events, seminars and product from thousands of showrooms to help retailers expand business and increase profits.Assisted in the leadership of Dallas Market Center’s consulting role with ShanghaiMart for 10 years as well as the redevelopment of the California Market Center, a project that spanned 5 years.Responsible for securing the relocation of the permanent floral industry from a series of traveling temporary trade shows to a permanent 450,000 square foot home in Dallas. The result was the redevelopment of the first building on the Dallas Market Center Campus, the Homefurnishings Mart, to the current International Trade Plaza.Previous positions within the Market Center include corporate advertising account executive, advertising director for the apparel industry, and vice president of marketing for the apparel industry; named executive vice president of marketing in August 1992 and COO in 2002. Presided over industry advisory boards including furniture, toy, gift, apparel (men’s women’s, children’s and western) and lighting.
