⚠️This is gonna be a long read. Apologise in advance ⚠️In 2017, fresh out of university, I stepped into the world of crypto. With little technical know-how but a strong belief in freedom, I was convinced that crypto would revolutionise our lives. I had no idea what lay ahead, but I embraced it with open arms.Since then, I've worked from project to project, from east to west, striving to bring builders together and lay down strong foundations for various ecosystems. In 2021, an unexpected opportunity came my way. I was invited to join a Bitcoin mining company. Initially, it felt like stepping into an entirely new world. But three years later, Bitcoin mining had found a special place in my heart. It's not just the backbone of Bitcoin, it was about the people there and the sociological impact it brings. Seeing how Bitcoin mining brought life to unexpected projects like Virunga National Park and Nodal Power was inspiring. Yes, the industry faces criticism for its energy consumption, but I’ve seen how it drives efficiencies and brings valid solutions to the energy sector. Watching the rapid rollout of revolutionary technologies in such a short time was both thrilling and humbling. In 2024, I reached a crossroads. After years of non-stop work, I decided it was time for a break to figure out what I really wanted in life. Those 2 months were a rollercoaster of emotions. Reflecting on the past and listening to my heart, I realized I needed to align my career with my core beliefs and values.This year, besides focusing on Bitcoin mining, I’ll be sharing my personal growth journey. Maybe some of my experiences will resonate with you, or perhaps the lessons I’ve learned can help you avoid the same mistakes. I’m excited about the future and what it holds.
