Marketing DirectorStatusphere Jan 2022 - Oct 2023RemoteStatusphere scales consumer-to-consumer marketing for brands.I created a new employee onboarding and 90-day goal document which is now the company standard for every new employee.I'm constantly revising and creating new process documents for my team, and I encourage them to do the same, even if they don't have any direct reports. This helps create a habit of documenting everything and will help us grow the team more effectively. -

Head Of MarketingExhibit Experience, Inc. Sep 2019 - Apr 2021Orlando, Florida, United StatesExhibit Experience is a trade show exhibit rental company. During my time there, I was tasked with redesigning and optimizing their website for conversions. Once the optimized website launched, their conversions increased by 327%.In addition, I managed their marketing strategy, established lead generation campaigns and created automated workflows. I also set up their CRM and produced sales presentations and other material to support the sales team. When trade shows were canceled due to the pandemic, I helped lead the team in pivoting to a new product. As part of that process, we developed the new branding, brand story, website, sales deck, etc. -
Co-Founder & MarketingArtistry.Io Dec 2016 - Mar 2019Orlando, Florida AreaAt Artistry, I was co-founder and head of marketing for their conversion optimization software named Frida. As part of my role, I developed marketing material, created product documentation, wrote and set up email workflows, wrote and designed case studies, website copy, website design, and designed the company's branding.A key part of my job was explaining our story to investors via pitch decks. One of the most enjoyable parts of this role was analyzing data to optimize websites that received millions of visitors per month.By using data collected by this software, I was able to create conversion boosters for a leader in the personal development space. This resulted in a 267% increase in conversions in ten days. And that was only showing the optimizations to 10% of their audience. -
MarketingRicorock Inc Apr 2012 - Sep 2013Orlando, Florida AreaRicoRock is an artificial rock manufacturer that primarily sells to pool contractors. During the time I worked at RicoRock, my role was to create their digital marketing strategy, which includes both B2B and B2C audiences.Their website was the starting point for the strategy - all the marketing you do will be worthless if your website isn't designed for conversions. The website has been redesigned a few times, keeping search engine optimization and conversions at the forefront. The current design (which was also done by me) increased conversions by 566%.Traffic comes from organic social and organic search, as well as referrals - no digital advertising is used. Moreover, I gave the brand a more modern look, applying modern typography and a modern design to all of their print material, including their product catalog. Additionally, I developed their social media marketing strategy. We asked customers to send photos of the product in exchange for a free gift, and now user-generated content is a large part of not only their social media strategy, but they also feature it on their website and in printed catalogs. Following my employment with RicoRock, I have worked with them as a freelancer on various projects (such as website redesigns and setting up their Hubspot) throughout the years. -
Graphic Designer & Corporate Accounts CoordinatorBookit.Com Sep 2009 - Jun 2010RemoteA little over a year after leaving my previous job, I returned to my former employer, Bookit.com.This time around, I worked half the time as a Graphic Designer and half as a Corporate Accounts Coordinator. As a Graphic Designer, I designed ads using Photoshop data sets and automation for site-wide promotions. Each promotion required 500 ads, and I needed to create ads for two of these every week - Thank goodness for automation!I also designed ads, banners, and other creative for new destinations. My responsibilities as the Corporate Account Coordinator included adding new hotels to the website. In order to make the hotels look like all the other hotels we had direct relationships with, I optimized the content for SEO and set up special rate connections.I also wrote promotional copy for the corporate accounts.Due to the company wanting to make the position non-remote, and the fact that I did not live in Panama City Beach, my time at the company ended. -
Digital Marketing ManagerOrlando Fun Spots Hotels Aug 2008 - Sep 2009Kissimmee, Florida, United StatesDuring this time, I developed their social media strategy, managed the accounts, and created social media promotions with the marketing director.Along with managing the hotel websites, I worked with an agency on SEO and created a blog to help with our search engine rankings.During the pre-WYSIWYG era, I designed and coded a monthly newsletter, which was semi-manually done in Dreamweaver, exported in HTML and sent via our email provider. It was a tough time to be a marketer back then.In addition, I designed landing pages for various marketing campaigns as well as promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and ads. -
Marketing & Promotions CoordinatorBookit.Com Jul 2007 - Aug 2008RemoteOne of my primary responsibilities in this position was to approve all of the promotions that the market managers and coordinators submitted. My access to all of those promotions allowed me to push our hottest promotions to different advertising channels. I worked with a monthly advertising budget of roughly $1M. Our most prominent advertising channel was travel newsletters. We advertised in several of these every week and spent over $100k on a single placement at times. I was responsible for managing these entire campaigns - from creating the promo copy to ensuring everything was linking to the proper place on our end. I was also responsible for taking these top promotions and showcasing them in our in-house newsletter that reached over 200k subscribers. This was before the days of WYSIWYG newsletter software like MailChimp. Therefore, I had to do this all in Dreamweaver - so it took 10x as long and wasn't as simple as it would be to create today. In addition, I also updated the promotions that showed up on the company's main website and various sub-domains several times per week.In this position, I learned so many lessons that make me the marketer I am today - mainly the importance of attention to detail. I also gained expertise in marketing attribution and reporting. -
