Due to the rapid expansion of Legend Exhibitions I took on the responsibility of the operation of the business, finance and the budget and HR. Legend had built to over 20 staff, 3 exhibitions, 3 online magazines and 2 conferences.Following the sale of the business to Reed Exhibitions my role has also grown in terms of dealing with all the due diligence during the sale and currently the integration in moving the business and staff into Reed.I will finish this role in May and will be looking for new freelance or project opportunities, ideally in a smaller business.

Responsible for the company marketing for all the exhibitions - Retail Business Technology Expo, Retail Design Expo, Retail Digital Signage Expo; plus the magazines: Essential Retail and Retail Design World and the general strategy of Legend Exhibitions Ltd.

Freelance marketing or event projects

Responsible for the marketing of the exhibitions, events and publications of the Licensed Trade Group including The Publican; Theme Magazine, Bar Show and Pub & Bar.

Starting in marketing and operations and helped to build up the exhibition portfolio for Quantum, which eventually sold out in 2005 to various companies where I transferred to UBM with the Publican portfolio.

Various roles on various shows in various parts of Emap (they were forever merging and demerging groups!) - my introduction into the world of exhibtions!
