As the Work Skills Coordinator for the West Bend High Schools, I was responsible for guiding, mentoring, and training special education students employability skills. Working closely with teachers and parents to lead the children to jobs that highlighted their skills and abilities. This was accomplished through classroom hands-on work activities; such as resume writing, mock interviewing, career explorations, skill building assessments, and work experiences within the community.
