The company has many processes that have not been implemented correctly and therefore have lost money. I have taken on multiple projects and worked with many of the departments to improve the process.• Reconciled balanced sheet accounts that have not been done for years and found many losses that had to be written off and made improvements of the process and trained those departments affected• Reviewed monthly financials for accuracy and expressed any recommendations for improvement• Analyzed monthly financial statements to discuss with the branch managers, controller and CFO• Analyzed the financials of three branches on variances, gross margin and worked with branch managers monthly on understanding their financials• Worked on special projects received from the CFO, COO and controller• Trained new employees on software and financial analysis• Improved procedures that needed to be implemented and train appropriate departments to save money and time for the company• Responsible for month end close process by preparing journal entries, reviewing and completing all assigned month-end functions• Prepare monthly account reconciliations across multiple business units• Provide accounting support to internal and external auditors during year-end reviews including preparation of supporting documentations• Project based accounting work as assigned by controller
