ANTOR Nederland is the Association of National Tourist Office Representatives in The Netherlands. For ANTOR Nederland I coordinated themed member meetings where tourist office directors and staff extend knowledge and exchange experiences with outbound tourism from The Netherlands. I also organized their annual press workshop where (travel) journalists, bloggers and photographers can meet representatives of over 25 holiday destinations..

As senior consultant and business unit manager I worked a.o. for Aruba Tourism Authority, Staatsloterij, AkzoNobel/CetaBever, D-reizen, Agis, Kuoni, Sesame Workshop, Swatch Group/Longines, Mars/M&M’s, PostNL and Amsterdam Arena. My responsibilities included strategy; activity proposals; budget accountability; new business, starting up new projects, project monitoring, coaching a team of consultants, working with subcontractors and strengthening relationships with clients, media and (online) influencers.

Aviareps Tourism is an international full-service communication consultancy agency (with core areas marketing, communication & representation), working primarily for companies in tourism. As senior consultant and team coordinator I was responsible for various tourist board accounts, including South African Tourism, Curacao Tourist Board, Oman Tourism, Visit Wales and Turismo de Lisboa. Focus areas: PR & (online) marketing. My work involved strategy development, budget accountability and reporting, coordinating advertising and trade campaigns, press conferences, press trips, events, fairs, TV recordings and (online) media promotions, writing and editing press releases and newsletters, judging sponsorship requests, strengthening relationships with clients, colleagues (also abroad), press, embassies and suppliers.

Total Identity is a creative consultancy agency for identity development, positioning and corporate branding. As part of the Total Communication team my responsibilities included PR and PA advise and strategy, project management, client contact with a.o. the Gallo Roman Museum in Tongeren (Belgium), Kikkoman Corporation and Wellant college. Furthermore tender development, coordination of internal and external communications scans, writing press releases, articles and PA reports, coordination of newsletters, websites and annual reports, organization of press conferences and interviews were also part of my job at Total Identity.

At Evident PR I worked for Schwarzkopf Professional, Grohe, Pattex, Old el Paso, Aprilia, Auping, Clynol and Häagen-Dazs. I gained experience with communication strategy development, client contact, project coordination, organization of press events, factory tours and editor visits, media contacts and last but not least new business development.

Canaan PR is a full-service lifestyle agency based in New York. Canaan PR represented clients in the entertainment and travel industry.During my 6 months internship as account executive my tasks were to compile media lists, liaise with clients and media, coordinate events, press conferences, premieres and interviews, write press releases and organize TV and radio recordings.
