My career has spanned both the private and public sectors, within employment law, including working as an Associate at the Fair Work Commission. Working with a team of talented workplace relations lawyers inspired me to enrol in a Bachelor of Laws, graduating in 2019. I moved into Human Resources in 2017 which gives me the opportunity to apply the skills and experience I have gained, directly into the workplace, and where I can make a positive impact. In my role as Human Capital Manager at Wurth Australia, I am a member of the Executive Team as well as the Company's nominated Diversity and Inclusion Manager. I support the business by working with managers and key personnel to develop and maintain an engaged and productive work force, while also leading a team of HR and WHS professionals. Reporting to the CEO, I work closely with senior management on workplace issues, including employment, workplace relations and equal opportunity, and I collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing engagement with HR and WHS processes and procedures.A key focus for me is to be able to use the skills and experience gained from over 20 years working in workplace relations to provide strategic and targeted solutions that meet our business’ needs.
