KIND provides free legal representation and coordinated social services to unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children. It also advocates for changes in U.S. policy to promote the better protection of immigrant children, including programs to ensure their safe return and reintegration when they are deported or voluntarily agree to return to their homeland. Each of these efforts informs KIND’s robust local, state, national, and international advocacy and public education work to champion policies and laws that protect unaccompanied children on the move no matter where they are in their migration journey.

Freedom Network USA is the nation’s largest coalition working to ensure that trafficked persons have access to justice, safety, and opportunity. Established in 2001, the network is comprised of trafficking survivors, legal and social service providers, researchers, advocacy organizations, and expert consultants. FNUSA's perspective is derived from the diverse geographic scope and expertise that our members bring from working with survivors of labor and sex trafficking. Together, FNUSA influences policy, provide training and technical assistance, and increase the capacity of members and allies.

The Women's Policy Institute-State (WPI-State) Policy program is a year long leadership and public policy fellowship program. Over the last 15 years, WPI fellows have passed over 30 laws that have transformed the lives of across the state of California. All of the teams work on public policies that support historically oppressed communities across California, including low-income communities, immigrant communities, and communities of color.
